You know that woman who always looks effortlessly put together, like her outfit just fits her energy? That’s signature style. It’s not about following trends or owning a massive wardrobe. It’s about knowing who you are and dressing in a way that reflects it, confidently, intentionally, and without overthinking it.

The good news? It's actually really easy to accomplish this- once you know what you're doing! Once you take the noise away, and all the nonsense we see online.

Here are some action steps to get this started....and first take a look at how our client started to see her style NOW

ACTION STEPS

1. What's The Vibe You Want?

Before you open your closet or scroll Pinterest, pause and ask yourself, what's the vibe you want?:

Confident? Polished? Effortless? Powerful? Relaxed?

Your personal style should be a reflection what's coming to mind. When you choose pieces with at the core how you want to present yourself, it starts to become much easier to hone in on where to focus.

Try this: Write down words that describe your ideal vibe when you walk out the door. Get messy with it and brain dump them. Those words will become the foundation of your signature style.

2. Find The Inspo

Now that you've done some reflection on the vibe- it's time to vision board. Pinterest, instagram albums, get creative and gather the images but from here I want you to compile the best of the best images.....it's style vision board time and create your first moodboard. This is your first North Star of style and remember this will evolve with you.

Season- after season take adjust the vision, it doesn't need to stay the same forever!

3. Edit Ruthlessly, Intentionally

You've now identified where you want your style to go and the overall vibe...

Open up that closet door and ask yourself piece after piece:

  • Does this align with how I want to feel?

  • Would I buy this again today?

  • Am I still keeping this just in case?

Let go of the "stuff". Anything emotional but you aren't wearing set to another area and laser focus on what's left that you're really working with.

4. Identify Your Go-To Silhouettes

Your body type doesn’t define your style, but understanding proportions helps you highlight what you love most. I need you to get really comfortable with your figure, how it is now! From here and really analyzing, we can find the garments that are going to work best for your proportions and vibe. (Easier said than done)

If you're doing this solo and no clue how to find those pieces, take your moodboard with you to the store!!

Grab anything from the racks that's similar to the vibe you want and try it on! From just trying on the pieces and forcing yourself to step outside the box you'll immediately see if it's working or not and get you even closer to the end goal.

5. Build Around Your Lifestyle

Now that you're starting to figure out the actual silhouettes that work for you, I also want you to be practical about your lifestyle so the pieces are being worn!

Start to compile a list of needs and wants- the best wardrobes are curated- you don't have to do it all at once.

By curating it versus just impulse buying you're going to notice how it starts to look intentional...your personal style!

6. Add Your Signature Touch

This is the fun part. Maybe it’s gold jewelry. Maybe it’s structured blazers. Maybe it’s red lipstick or a monochrome palette.

Your signature touch is the element that makes every outfit feel like you. It doesn’t have to be loud, just consisitent. For me-it's my jewelry uniform. I wear the same pieces daily, it's part of my uniform.

Remember all of this takes time- you don't need to do everything in one weekend- and wardrobes are meant to be curated!! Keep looking, browsing, experimenting until it's perfect! I'm always here to help in this process- don't be a stranger and if you'd like to connect, learn about services then let's get on a Zoom call and chat! Use this link to get started. XX
